Sports School Union Logo and Identity

The Sports School Union is located in Aalborg, Denmark. The Union is affiliated with the university and many students use its gym and participate in competitions.

Problem

As the union was growing, it wanted to unify its look and feel by creating a strong logo and a consistent brand identity. It needed a recognisable symbol for its members to rally around, both in the gym and at competitions.

Solution

The concept is inspired by familiar fitness equipment – ropes, straps and weights – translated into a bold, angular design language. Strong colours and dynamic diagonal line patterns reinforce the athletic character and create a flexible system that works across print, digital platforms and in sports facilities.
